  1. You have to understand the reasons why the EU countries moan about borders: 1. The EU tries its utmost to win the biggest dick size competition ever, because they want to turn the EU into "the United States of Europe" ... and that is why they are STILL talking to Turkey, why they will add Ukraine and probably even Georgia to the group and why they were "disappointed" when Switzerland, Norway and Iceland said no. 2. The EU is first and foremost an organization which is ruled by/for NEOLIBERALS who want to have free reign over any border and if you enforce them for people you might enforce them for goods too (through import taxes).
