@jamescomb1170 From the little I learned from my advisor who's a pundit, Inflation mostly affects stock yields in that, as inflation erodes the value of a dollar of earnings, it makes it difficult for the market to gauge the current value of the companies that make up market indexes. On the flip side, inflation favors value stocks (if you know how to take advantage of this in the market). I gain always from inflation because of the picks my advisor makes. I hope this helps.
