@dge5348 Maybe AZ should just stop all shipments to the EU and be done with it. If all the EU can do is threatening and bully, then they're not a trusted partner to have.

It doesn't matter if they ban exports to the UK. We have the NovaVax vaccine coming on line in April. Made in the UK.

Instead of blaming Britain and attacking AstraZeneca, why not help AstraZeneca with production. Put more money in and ask other producers to produce the vaccine at their plants. There's plenty of capacity in Europe to manufacture more. Bottom line EU, is you were slow to sign the contract and wanted it at dirt cheap rates. Put more money in and they can produce more vaccines. The problem isn't hard to solve.

@isacadc4552 AstraZeneca vaccine is not for profit. They allowed the Indian Serum Institute to produce it (as they're the biggest vaccine manufacturers in the World, and charges them 2p per jab for the rights. If the EU wanted to do it and approached AZ I reckon they'd have done it. I don;t think they would now though, not with the way they acting. That said. The British Government put money in to the AZ plants in the UK to iron out all these production issues.
