I am trying to avoid making any new buys at this point in other not to get sucked into a bear market trap. It's tough making money in stocks when institutional investors are the driving force behind the selling.. although I read an article of people that grossed profits up to $150k during this crash, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist

Currently I'm just being smart and frugal with my money, I'm in the green 47% over the last 23 months and l've accumulated over $700K in pure profits from DCA’ing into stocks, ETFs, dividends and futures. However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait.

The volatility in the market is alarming. How can i diversify my reserve across multiple markets while creating a comprehensive portfolio allocation that balances my concerns of risk aversion and returns that meet yearly inflation? I mean I've heard of people making up to $300k weeks during this crash and I'd like to know how.

Successful investing is hard work because it means disciplining your mind to do the opposite of human nature. Buying during a panic, selling during euphoria, and holding on when you are bored and just craving a little action. Investing is 5% intellect and 95% temperament.

Quite sad what's happening in the market. Although, even the worst recessions offer wonderful buying opportunities in the markets if you're cautious. Volatility can also result in excellent short-term buy and sell opportunities. The market circumstances are driving me insane, my portfolio has lost almost $13K this month alone, my earnings are tanking. I'd appreciate some financial advice from anyone who knows more going forward.
374
There are lots of mixed opinions about stocks and there projection in the next coming years, I aim for short term solid gains from market correction and I'd definitely jump on the boat if I knew a thing or two about day-trading, but then again what do I really know? I'm just looking for the right moves to grow and hedge my stagnant reserve of $370k from inflation.
351
I've been unsure about the market due to volatility, at the same time I still feel it's the right time to make profit cos of the price decrease, heard someone speaking of making over $500k since the lockdown and I'm driven to ask what techniques/skillset is needed to achieve this
343
I am aware that continuing to invest during periods of volatility can be a smart way to build wealth. I’ve heard testimonies of people accruing over $250k in this red period. What measures can I take to achieve this?
341
Inflation hits people a lot harder than a crashing stock or housing market as it directly affects people's cost of living that people immediately feel the impact of. It's not surprising negative market sentiment is so high now. We really need help to survive in this Economy.
317
Lot of people don't like the Idea of Investing in Mid/small cap. But my major size of portfolio is mid/small cap risk reward ratio is high. But one can plan his/her portfolio according to their risk taking potential.

I used to feel overwhelmed when my portfolio would drop a few dollars. Now that I've learned how the market works, I see bear markets as a giant opportunity to build generational wealth for me and my family. In just 5 months my portfolio have accrued gains of over $300k
255
Market is down still, I've been looking up strategies and apparently both bull and bear market condition provides equal avenue to accrue massive gains, and a news article particularly mentioned a 54 year old that made $180k in 5weeks, how do I learn these strategies, my portfolio has been stagnant for months.
253
Don't get me wrong, I know the economy is in shambles and in order to break even and make profit, we have to ride it out until stock recovery, but how are some folks in the same stock market as me still able to pull off substantial profits of as much as 650K within months, what am I doing wrong?

Banks and Inflation can have a significant impact on individuals and their cost of living. As a result, it can cause negative market sentiment. It is important for individuals and businesses to find ways to navigate and potentially mitigate the effects of inflation on their finances. The current economic climate, including underperformance of financial markets due to fear of inflation, has led to a decrease in the value of my portfolio. I would appreciate any recommendations on how to potentially increase returns during this market downturn

Came across some statements from big investors expressing concerns that the stock market rally could be short-lived. My concern is my $220K stock portfolio is still recovering from a dip of almost 40%, how do I navigate these complex situations?
196
Given the current economic difficulties that the country is experiencing in 2023, how can we enhance our earnings during this period of adjustment? I cannot let my $680k savings vanish after putting in so much effort to accumulate them.
193
The stock market rally run is gone, but I'm not sure if equities will swiftly recover, keep falling or swing in a narrow range for a few weeks, or if things will quickly get worse. I'm under pressure to increase my $450k reserve.
191
Several of the biggest market experts have been voicing their opinions on exactly how awful they think the next downturn would be, and how far equities may have to go, as recession draws closer and inflation continues well above the Fed's 2% objective. I'm trying to build a portfolio of at least $850k by the time I'm 60, therefore I need suggestions on what investments to make.

Like Warren Buffet said, dividends are only good if the business you’re investing into can’t make good use of that capital. So if you’re trying to invest into businesses with actual growth, looking at dividends is a waste of time. Why are you investing into a company if they’re returning capital to you because they think you can make better use of it than they can. It’s not much different from bond investing.
141
I find myself at a crossroads, uncertain whether to liquidate my $150,000 stock portfolio. I'm seeking advice on the best strategy to capitalize on this current market.
140
this year will be a year of severe economic pain all over the nation.. what steps can we take to generate more income during quantitative adjustment?I can't afford my hard-earned $180,000 savings to turn to dust
134
I think it's just a worry that inflation may take a while to get under control. Realistically with 8.5% inflation long rates should be in the double digits. The reason they're still below 3% is there's still this belief that the inflation is transient. If there are signs inflation is going to hang around longer than the bond market is currently expecting, all hell is going to break loose and it's going to vaporize the stock market. Watch inflation indicators very carefully
132
Stocks are falling and bond yields are rising, but markets still don’t seem convinced the Federal Reserve will pursue plans to keep increasing interest rates until inflation is under control. I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $117k stocck portfolio, what’s the best way to take advantage of this bear market?
130
The idea of investing a significant sum of money may be both thrilling and intimidating. There is potential for considerable wealth increase with the correct strategy. How can one take advantage of compound interest and potentially grow your retirement savings/net-worth to about $3M over time?

I recently sold some of my Nvidia stocks to secure profits, but I'm retaining a portion for the long term, its growth potential is robust. I'm also considering diversifying my $400K stock portfolio, but I'm uncertain about managing risks in my next move.

It's a pity this is happening to netflix. Could it be the Russia ban? Very pitiable.

Investing in various sources of income that are independent of the government should be the most essential thing on everyone's mind right now. especially in light of the global economic crisis at the moment. I have $560,000 sitting in savings searching for the best method to enter these markets. This is still an excellent moment to invest in equities, gold, silver, and digital currencies.

Many thanks to all the people who buy Tesla cars, thanks also to the investors! You help change the world!

What is the best way to profit from the current market, meanwhile I'm still undecided about investing $400k in my stock portfolio to get some dvidends and minimize risk

Stocks looked to rebound Friday to close out a rough first few days in August, as the jobs report's release takes center stage and an earnings-heavy calendar continues. I’ve heard testimonies of people accruing over $250k this red period. What measures can I take to ensure this?
96
Our economy struggling with uncertainties, housing issues, foreclosures, global fluctuations, and pandemic aftermath, causing instability. Rising inflation, sluggish growth, and trade disruptions need urgent attention from all sectors to restore stability and stimulate growth.

My greatest concern is how to recover from all these economic and global troubles and stay afloat especially with the political power tussle going on in the US.

As a beginner, educate yourself: Learn the basics of investing and the stock market. There are many resources available online , including books, articles, and online courses. It’s a good idea to diversify your portfolio across different stocks and sectors to minimize risk. I’ve heard of people accruing over $550k during recessions and inflation, its important to do your own research

To understand the specific reasons for Bitcoin rallying above $67,000, you should check the latest news from reliable sources, financial reports, and expert analyses. Cryptocurrency markets can be highly volatile, and price movements may not always have a straightforward explanation. It's essential to consider a variety of factors that could contribute to market sentiment and investor behavior.

I guess it may be time to start taking profits. Protecting your capital is much more important than making money. Basically because if you lose your capital, making money is much harder. ''Missing the train'' vs. ''losing your money''. There are a lot of trains, but if your money is gone, it's over.

With the way the market is moving, we'll mostly hold for longer than 2025 to realize profit gain, I think a video on "How to profit from the present market" will be more effective, I mean I've heard of people making upto 250K within few months and I'd like to know how.
81
80% equities 20% cash. I plan to take advantage of the s&p 500 as leading indicators predict above 10% rise by this year, my only issue is how to properly allocate a large stock/bond portfolio for substantial gains at minimum risk.
80
If u. Any take a 50% dip and not be scared. You need to leave the markets. Or walk away. Stop looking! Check once a year. Most of you aren’t successful day traders or have millions. Why would u need to know what going on in markets more then warren buffet.

Biggest lesson i learnt in 2023 in the stock market is that nobody knows what is going to happen next, so practice some humility and low a strategy with a long term edge.

Overall, 55% of traders think this year would favor stocks, mutual funds, and other equity-based investments, despite Treasury yields and other safer cash-like investments paying big. I’m looking for opportunities in the market that could fetch me $1m ahead of retirement by 2025
