  1. It's more than walls and a roof. Location, location, location. I bought my house 14 years ago. The 1st time I walked in, the view out the 16 ft tall tall windows literally took my breath away. Living in my house is like living in a resort. I also have a few acres so my neighbors aren't right up next to me. The land under a house is worth something too. That's why I'd never buy a condo. I want to own the land.
