  1. Typical. Way back when I lived with a girl who was just a friend of mine (she was dating one of my bros, and even though he paid rent elsewhere he essentially lived with us as well). I started dating a girl who was super jealous of my roommate because my roommate was pretty. A few months into dating I found out she had cheated on me with a different one of my friends to "get back at me" for refusing to move out (we had never even talked about my living situation, although I knew she disliked my roommate). She tried to gaslight me into thinking it was somehow my fault because if I didn't want her to cheat I wouldn't have lived with another woman. She said she would stay with me but not to be surprised if it kept happening as long as I lived with my roommate. I was pissed and hurt and so I talked to my roommate and got her permission to lie to my now-ex because I knew what would hurt her the most. I told my now-ex that my roommate and I had been sleeping together the whole time. Her head exploded and for YEARS afterward I would run into mutual acquaintances who would tell me that she was STILL furious about the audacity of me cheating on her, and how I was the worst person ever. Almost 10 years later she friended me on Facebook just to yell at me about what a piece of crap I was. It still makes me smile to this day. The only thing I regret is that the "sleeping with my roommate" was a lie, because she was way hotter than my ex-gf.
