I had a former friend who was an obstinate atheist who "argued" the same way. He went so far as to insist that he would deny Jesus to his face if and when he came down for the rapture and extended his hand and offered him salvation. "Even with undeniable proof that he was real I'd still deny he existed." Not a friendship I miss in the slightest. *edit: It's not simply about the atheism...every opinion he held was like this, from the religious and philosophical all the way down to the flavor of soda. If you liked Pepsi you were correct. If you liked Coke you were a f'ing idiot moron who doesn't know anything.
