I still play Diablo 4 couch-coop with my wife (although this season is lame so we've mostly been playing BG3). Every now and then we see a cosmetic that we would absolutely buy if it were in the $1-$5 range. Every time we see something cool we look at the price and go "Nope." Every. Single. Time. We have been playing since beta and have purchased zero cosmetics because the prices are just ludicrous. It makes me wonder who in the hell is actually buying the cosmetics. My guess is that very few people actually are, and instead of thinking "If we made these cheaper more people would buy them and our profits would go up" they actually think "Nobody is buying these so we need to make them even more expensive so that we can make more money on the miniscule amount of sales we currently have".
