  1. "I didn't even play any of these other games, I didn't realize this." I think Asmon has accidentally summed up the experience level of the modern game-dev perfectly. The industry had an influx of people who wanted to be involved without any actual love for video games nor history with video games. They saw a space that they wanted to make "inclusive" and have subsequently forced the passionate people out, resulting in the kind of soulless facsimiles of the games we used to love that we are seeing now.
