This is code for his shrinking viewership. It doesn't matter that he talks about politics, it matters that people are tired of the wokeness. His real plea is a code for him and his writing staff to walk back all of the crap that they've been proudly spewing for years in an attempt to stay relevant. I hope it doesn't work.
