  3.  @mikkokarkkainen2807  We just made sure that EU countries cannot resist economic integration. I want the EU to be given new powers to force reform in some EU countries. The financial stimulus package will ensure that countries become economically innovative. Innovation is important because we are living in a rapidly changing environment in which family-business economies do not suffice anymore. We need to push each other in the right direction (the stick) and use it, i.e. the stick, as an instrument to hold each other accountable. We can intervene in decisions made by the Italian government for example and thereby mitigate the consequences of a populist government.

  4. @Dirk Koeleman There must be a way to stop this thwarting. I mean, we can all clearly see what they are doing and we all agree that it is illicit. There must be a loophole to punish them for their ill-behavior, or an artificial mechanism via which we can end this obstinacy.
