@kucing_rese for me is very interesting where all these people get money to buy cars? Average car cost nearly 3 times more than in USA!

Life is tough for foreigners too. People think foreigners have good income. But lack of normal residence and citizenship. Living in local society, foregners struggle there. Enormous expernses for visas, medical insurance, And cost of life increased a lot. 10 years ago I lived normally on 12k per month. Now this is impossible. Good international food very expensive. More and more long living expats leave. Many of them working and transfer knowledge to locals. But less and less people want to stay here, only come as short time tourists.

@nessparadis6948 not USD but THB. It was in 2012. Enough for anything.

@JoSeph-yp5mb moreover that crazy law when married foreigners can’t just work anywhere without any permits. This country is dying in many ways. I advise young foreigners don’t spend time here just run!

Are you sure? Thais simply live inside their society, opposing to filipino who want to move abroad all!

Beware, if they find a way to help you pass faster, I not joking...

@Natapat55 of course because average local can’t afford such services at all. When I looked for care house for my mom it was 4000 euro

@openranks4519 Who need this? That country doing all against foreigners. Citizenship applications not move for 3 years. Passport is sht. As conclusion that country will be owned by china in law, not in fact. American man come there and can impregnate a lot of locals if they want, and locals will be happy because half child is happiness.

@justbdsd4569 they dont have anything to save. to live good life someone need at least half million baht per year. No locals have such money.

@user-sf9gs2pg1b let’s be easier, that country need normal pension system immediately and yesterday, so every pensioner must have at least minimum daily wage as pension. This automatically means 10k per month. Yes, not that one time 10k wallet of something, but monthly.

@yuliazni3389 yes! It good. Such facilities exist. The question is cost! 30k per month, if way more than average Thai can afford. There is similar facilities in Chiangmai for foreigners from European countries, their pensions going directly to facility. But again this is far beyond average local.
