  1. The ONLY reason why Russia would want to join NATO is for the veto. If Russia were to ever be accepted into NATO they should be a special member with no voting rights and no veto rights.

  2. Actually, the United States is sending old equipment that was paid for 20, 30, and 40 years ago. Then the United States is manufacturing new update equipment to replace that old equipment, which is something that the United States already needs to do anyway.
