  1. US were aware of Nord Stream plot? of course they were - they did it. The fact that as soon as the pipeline was destroyed that the US & Norway had means to immediately supply gas is proof this plot had been planned many years in advance. How else would the US have means to supply gas via ships straight away with infrastructure already built in the USA
