Article 5 does not mean all of NATO will go to war, it means they can provide aid instead, something they have been doing to Ukraine who is not a member of NATO since the illegal and violent USA coup in 2014. Poland obviouslty wants to get boots on the ground in western UA so after the war they can reclaim the land that was the former Kingdom of Poland and to restore the Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth
