  3.  cynthiademario7331 so you may become a little more knowledgable instead of being an ignoramus- Minsk 2 agreement as brokered by France & Germany to end Ukraines shelling of civilians in the Donbas - was ignored by UA. Zelensky ran on a platform of peace saying he would end the civil war but once in power he increased the shelling & has since admitted he never intended to abide by the agreement - all approved of by the USA / NATO / EU. Minsk, and the peace agreement that was to be signed in April 2022 ensured Donbas remains in UA but under self rule. After Zelensky increased the shelling and walked back on Minsk, Donbas declared themselves independant as is their right for self determination under international law and they repeatedly asked RU for help as the increased shelling was warning of major UA attack. RU used the Responsibility to Protect where populations are protected from genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity and ethnic cleansing which has emerged as an important global principle since the adoption of the UN World Summit Outcome Document in 2005. And it is UA who have lost 400,000 killed and 1 million wounded and RU losses are decreasing - as reported by western media
