  1. Whatever the resolution of this conflict will be, there's still the matter of US instigating and financing the 2014 coup, which led to destabilization of the country to the point of civil war. That makes the US responsible for all the damage and death. Not even talking about the stolen - er, I mean frozen assets amounting to hundreds of billions. The US is definitely not in a good negotiating position.
