That first girl reminded me of two ex fiancés (not concurrent). Broke up both times because I objected to both of them going on a 304 girl vacations to Miami with their 304 friends. Fully expecting me to take them back when they returned. Before the first one even left I had taken a 6 month contract in Maldives. She went into full rage mode. Said I was being petty and ruined her vacation. When the second returned she couldn't find me and I wasn't returning texts. She sent me an email. I sent her back a pic of my size 16 feet from a black sand beach in the Canary Islands (4 month contract). Once again full rage mode.

@6lake. I'm an engineer. At the time I worked mostly on control systems for moving water. Domestic, irrigation and once even sewage. Surprisingly the biggest issue islands have is fresh water for drinking and irrigation.

@6lake. You actually make more money being an engineer that sits behind a desk. But where's the fun in that? I had the opportunity to work on a project in Sudan. So dangerous I had a 24/7 military escort. But I got to see their ruins that predate most of those in Egypt. Something very few outsiders get to see.

@nax1807 I hired my mother's neighbor's daughter's fiancé as an intern. They had been together since jr high school. She did the same thing to him with her hot girl summer. Really broke his heart. Actually destroyed him. Not long after after he graduated I sent him to assist with our contract on the Ouarzazate Solar Power Station. They were impressed and three months later asked if they could offer him a permanent position. Of course I agreed. He later went solo and got a gig with the construction of a Solar Plant iir Dubai. He's now working on that HUGE complex in Australia. All because he didn't wait around for three months while his first love got ran through. She still lives with her parents. None of them speak to me.
