  1. Two days ago at a gas station I heard a woman comment about how broke I must be to drive and old VW. I was pretty dingy as I had done an oil change and valce adjustment earlier. She purposely said it loud enough for me to hear. Before leaving I pointed out to her that the steering wheel in my '50 Beetle was worth more than her entire 5 yr old BMW 3 series. She was not amused.

  2.  @andreitomescu7847  Come to think of it I did a frame off nut & bolt restoration on my bug. Anyone with a brain that knew nothing about cars should have been impressed. She's clean AF. Now I'm offended.
