  2.  @Sapiens_Imperialis  Sap gloves are harder to carry and deploy. Also makes it difficult to operate a firearm. Knucks can be dropped if things need to escalate. But seriously...have you ever hit anyone with brass knucks? Didn't hurt me a bit.

  4.  @Sapiens_Imperialis  They should never touch your fingers. The impact is absorbed with your palm. Teddy Roosevelt's NYPD used copper knuckles quite effectively in cleaning up his city. No busted up hands that I know about.

  5. I live in Texas. We can carry throwing stars concealed for protection or any other reason we please. Want to carry a Bowie Knife or samurai sword? Go right ahead. Part of my daily carry is a switchblade and brass knuckles.
