  1.  @hobzsgarage6130  I'm pretty much the only person to ever have a good experience with an HOA. I also had an HOA that I wasn't a part of decide to start fining me. I was there first and they built a neighborhood behind my home.

  2. I had an HOA for three years and it was great. Non intrusive. They did prevent two neighbors from what seemed like operating junk yards on their front lawns (junk cars everywhere). And another from operating a mechanic shop in his garage (broke down cars all over the street). That was it.

  3.  @2TMON  I ignored them hoping we'd go to court. Thought it would be funny to show a judge that not only was I outside of their HOA but my home was there two decades before they broke ground. Nothing became of it.

  4. If asked if I were up for an evening of cornhole and pickle ball there would be a fist fight.
