Patents work the same way. DiMarzio Guitar Pickups will steal a patent then sue the owner into bankruptcy. Or copywrite commonly used terms and even colors.

@Scubesnax And if you have the money you can fight DiMarzio. The sued Kinman pickups out of their patents. Did the same thing to his friend and mentor Bill Lawrence. The did a copywrite on PAF. A common term for a Gibson pickup for decades. Cream pickup bobbins, also used by Gibson for decades are now the intellectual property of DiMarzio. From the Urban Dictionary... Dimarzio An unethical pickup manufacturer that steals designs and concepts and then uses obscure legalities to screw over the rightful owners of these designs and concepts. Dimarzio can also be used to describe blood in your stool "Hey this pickup is better than anything I could ever design. It's Dimarzio time."

@anteshell Sorry. I said copywrite instead of trademark. DiMarzio steals patents and trademarks common terms, other people's property and colors.

@anteshell BTW Courts in the entire rest of the world sees through DiMarzio's BS where they have lost every single time.
3
@GreyMaria I understand that. But it's there never the less because of DiMarzio's unethical thuggish behavior.

@RatKindler Either way, I meant trademark. Dimarzio trademarks other peoples wording and common terms along with their patent piracy. But only in the US. International courts constantly rules against them.
