  2.  @scottrmc59  Most of my employees are salary. Sometime they work 70 hr weeks. Sometimes they work 2. My hourly employees are paid overtime if they work more than 40 hrs. That's the law. Twitter's salaried employees were bragging about working between 4 and 15 hrs a week. Now they are furious that they are expected to work 40.

  4.  @akaroth7542  Nobody does. That's why it is salary and not hourly. My engineers have a base salary and make massive bonuses depending on their performance. They don't get overtime but when there's a slow down or we're between contracts they still get paid.

That Musk was able to all but eliminate these abuses of children only after the child safety team was fired speaks volumes. The rest of your comment is irrelevant. The real question is why are you furious that Musk is protecting children? That also speaks volumes.

  8. I'm told that one of the owners opened up another business in San Antonio, Texas. Just like thousands of others. Texas now has a $24 billion budget surplus. $12 billion rainy day fund. Not including property tax revenue. All without an income tax and low business related taxes and fees.

The resume's I'm getting from former Twitter and Google employees are not even considered. Too much trouble just getting them to show up on time much less work an 8 hr day. Why wouldn't Musk get rid of 10 entitled 20 somethings working 4 hrs a week each and replace them with one 40 hr a week 40 something?

  32. Work or leave is how every successful company on the planet operates. Twitter laissez-faire work environment lost them billions. I've had entitled techies quit because I expected them to do their jobs. There were all easily replaced. Between Google and Twitter there's a glut. And nobody I know wants them.
