  1. At least an 8 year old truck has value. A neighbor took out an 8 year loan on a $100k BMW. Consider what an BMW (or Mercedes) depreciates in 8 year or the cost of an out of warranty repair. The car could need a maintenance repair (turbos) in 5 years that greatly exceeds the value of the car.

  2.  @jeffcampbell2710  I have a '70 Ford PU. One morning it wouldn't start. One whack with a shovel and it fired right up. So easy to repair. 😁😁😁

  3.  @Nordlicht05  I should have said 3 years ago. Back than a 5-6 yr old $100K+ AMG could be had for $25 in some areas. A lot of repairs could come close to that figure. Now prices are crazy.
