8 years ago I was very sick and in the hospital. My biggest concern was if I'd still be able to get married in a few weeks. My fiancé never left my side. The doctor came in and gave me a very bad prognosis. Without a word my fiancé just got up left the room. A few minutes later she sent me a text saying, "This wasn't what she signed up for". Never again.

@AndrewKidd14145 No. We met while I was working in her country. We were together for two years and she was here on a 90 day marriage visa. After that we were relocating to another country. She just thought that my prognosis meant she would be taking care of me forever. She was wrong on all counts. At least I did see her true colors before I made the biggest mistake of my life.

@kysersose3924 Before I preferred to work as a field engineer. Got to travel and lived in places that adventure tourists dare not tread. Once had to get to a location on an elephant as to not disturb the highly endangered Java Rhino in the park. But I've climbed my last mountain. Now I work mostly from home. Still travel but not to the more off the beaten path locations. No more tents. It's all 3-5 star hotels. Here's the kicker. I make over 5 times what I did before MS tried to take me down..
