From local sources Tate was picked up for questioning concerning tax evasion and money laundering. Not arrested and already released. The kidnapping charge was found to be without merit months ago after video footage proved his innocence.

@KT-pv3kl Western Europe is not Eastern Europe. Not even close. I do business in several Eastern European countries on a regular basis. Human rights are more of a suggestion than the rule in most former occupied territories of the USSR. But I'm going by what a Romanian said about the situation. Someone I'd be more likely to believe than the US media. And you are correct, Canada is not like Romania. Canada has suspended all human rights long ago. Justin Trudeau put it very plainly.

@KT-pv3kl From what a Romanian said that's how they do things there. Don't let their skin color fool you. It's not the US, They don't have the Constitution or Bill of Rights. And what you see there is pretty much the way things like this are handled everywhere in the world except the US. Canada isn't much different than Romania.

@thrrax Do you know how long they were detained? Depending on the source it was a couple of hours to almost a day.
