6:40 Assuming it was a professional position, if she showed up to the interview showing the tats and wearing a bunch of nose rings I can tell you exactly why she didn't get the job. 9:28 It's call being an adult sweetheart. Do you think...err...sorry...feel that your parents and grandparents loved their jobs? No...they didn't. But they trudged through it because bills had to be paid. 10:43 Stop living beyond your means. A whole lot of people making a whole lot less can do it Princess. You can too. 12:00 He's your guest. He's not expected to wash your dishes. Maybe he left because he couldn't take anymore of your filthy mouth. Oh, and that call he got wasn't from any ought to be mom. It was a friend he asked to call at 1:00am so he could bail if things weren't going well.

13GOLGO13 First thing I do after reviewing a resume is check their social media. That eliminates about half of all potential candidates right off the bat.

13GOLGO13 A lack of negatives are at least as important as positives. A lot of my Asian and N African clients are put off by their sort of appearance. If I have two candidates, one presents in a professional manner and the other is a blue haired, tat covered with face like a pin cushion the choice is obvious. In fact the latter wouldn't even be considered. If I click on their social media and I see preferred pronouns and "activist" in their bio experience has taught me that they will be nothing but trouble.

@Lord_technofascist_nepobaby Yet here you are.

@PipoZePoulp We employ a company that does very thorough background checks. And if it involves a government contact there are security clearances. What I described is a quick check I do before even considering an applicant. Even deleting all social media doesn't mean it can't be found.

@mortsnerd5100 So long as it isn't discovered that someone didn't just wipe all of their social media.

@icecold9511 I do understand what you are saying, But America is just one country. What leftists consider to be acceptable behavior is considered unacceptable in most of the world. I can't hire someone that I know my clients will not even allow on their premises. I certainly can't hire someone who is ineligible for a work visa because of being arrested and released multiple times for acts of violence during a "mostly peaceful protest". I can't hire a h0!0c@u$t denier with tweets demanding the destruction of Israel. I can't hire someone who's tweeting about how as soon as they get hired they will start filing EEOC complaints over everything and tear down the patriarchy from within. Freedom of speech isn't freedom from responsibility. Actions have consequences.

@icecold9511 I understand and mostly agree. But my concern if for the well being of my employees. They are first and foremost in every decision I make. I've seen first hand the damage a self proclaimed woke activist can can do to a company. All for the sake of likes and retweets. I've seen clients lost because a woke activist felt entitled to voice their opinions about someone of another culture. I've seen clients lost because they checked out the social media of a contractor. And when the clients walked a lot of people lost their jobs. That is why I prefer to avoid the issues associated with these woke activists all together.
