@elsuperpollo6715 I have an Engineering Masters. It's worked out well for me. A guy I went to high school with has a PhD in Philosophy from an Ivy League University. If you go by "The Morning Call" coffee shop in New Orleans say hello to him for me.

@RKmndo People are always surprised to find that I have zero debt. My credit cards are so I don't have to carry cash and it's been decades since I carried a balance. I can't imagine how people sleep at night when their unsecured debt is greater than their potential lifetime income.

@RKmndo I dated a woman that had student loans (plural) and something like $60K in credit card debt. She didn't even own a car but she had a lot of nice clothes. There was one on a talk show that had something like half a million in student loans (for a worthless non-STEM degree) and the same in credit card debt. How does that happen?

@paulbentley1705 The first self made millionaire I knew was a plumber and started a plumping/renovation company. Made his first liquid million before he was 30. And this was in the early 90's when a million meant something. He's about to retire. He and his wife are planning on living aboard their '60 Custom Cruiser Yacht. I still remember the time a girl loudly mocked and embarrassed him for asking her out.

@kevincurry4254 20 something years ago a client insisted that I take an AC and refrigeration class to better understand his needs. The instructor was retired from the business and took the position out of boredom. He had a massive home on Lake Pontchartrain, a beach house on Grand Isle and three boats of varying sizes. He just gave the business to his sons.
