  1. I do a lot of hiring. An arrest like this, even without a conviction, is an immediate disqualifier. Over half of recent grads don't even get an interview after a quick search of their online presence and social media. Those that are interviewed get passed over after a more thorough background investigation. Maybe 10% of qualified applicants make it to the 2nd interview. All because of their behavior.
