I was a kid growing up in the New Orleans French Quarter in the 80's. She sounds exactly like everyone I knew that was H!V+ or got the herp. Took zero responsibility. Blamed everyone but themselves (mostly Reagan). No concern for anyone they might have infected or will infect. Continued frequenting the top floor of The Phoenix Night Club or N.O. Men's Spa. You can guess what went on there. This was before there was any sort of treatment so every cold and flu season there was a mass d!e off. Still blamed Reagan.
