  1. We’re not in a new Cold War. China is nothing like the confederation of countries that was the Soviet Union, all of which had very different economic conditions, needs and performances. That’s not to say China doesn’t have major economic and demographic problems to name a couple, but the style and psyche of the CCP is far contrasting to that of SU. We’re certainly in multipolarity, and great challengers to the US dollar dominance, but applying buzz words like Cold War 2.0 etc is too simplistic an interpretation.
