  5. Think my takes were quite reasonable. No one is denying the need of Ukraine for western aid which if they lose will tip the balance in the longer term. Doesnā€™t detract from the fact nor is it the same that what the Kremlin did is wrong.

  9. No oneā€™s afraid. Topic isnā€™t about internal politics and corruption. Itā€™s about geopolitics and the relations of the great powers. The USA has plenty to answer for. No one is disputing that.

  10. What a daft take šŸ˜‚ Putin does not control the independent nations of Eastern Europe. He can ā€˜demandā€™ all he wants, but if those states actively and voluntarily choose to be part of nato there is nothing he can do. This isnā€™t the eastern bloc of the Soviet Union. And while have always agreed nato shouldā€™ve worked harder with Russia in 90s/00s, that is still not a justification for launching full scale military action against another. Doing so has only reinforced Eastern European nations to love nato, and countries like Poland, to seriously militarise.
