  3. Funny thing, our grandparents and their parents, were much like this pakistani guy......(althoug they were cristians instead of muslims). But this down to earth, respectfull but blunt attitude, is how my grandparents used to be....... they thought telling you how things were, instead of caring for your emotions, was actually doing you a favour ........ My grandma told my once that a girl I brought home was like a pear, with a slim face, but with fat *ss and legs. Another time she stated that another had not the best hips to give birth, and she was no good for me.......and she didn`t wait to speak to me in private, if you know what I mean.......when I asked her why she was so harsh, she told me it was their mothers job to care for their feelings, not hers........ When she was young, marriages were still arranged by families in my country and for her, marriage was about family and buissness, not about romance and love......... I miss the old lady........
