In Europe, indeed, we expect to avoid the rising of temperatures caused by climate change to a certain degree, if the atlantic-belt (that cuases Europe to be much more warmer than it should, do to its latitude) colapses and ceases to bring warm water to the atlantic coast of Europe. This, theoricaly COULD counter the first or the first two degrees of LOCAL warming, although it would bring other (BIG) problems into our clima (scientists speculate that there could appear things like Monzoons or supertornados in Europe). If the global temperature rises over 3 ºC we will be as f*cked as anyone else. It`s like driving 220 km/h in a highway while blindfolded. Although we cannot predict EXACTLY when and how you are going to kick the bucket, we know for shure that it is not going to end well....... But try to explain that to people that disregard science, while they belive that the bible is an acurate depiction of history, and bleach can heal c*vid........SMH

  2. BUf.....balming this lady for a mass-sh*ting is like blaming videogames for violence. I mean, if ALL of the people who follow her went out on shooting-rampages, that would be something to look in. Or if 50, or 20 or even 10% did. But if you speak to an audience wide enough (and with internet and social media, theorically you have an audience of 8 billion people) SURELLY there are going to be one or two crazy people in that group........ Surely the man that comitted that henious crime has listened in his life ate least ONCE to a Beatles-song. Should we blame the Beatels?

  3. In the 80s and 90s our biggest concern was acid rain and the destruction of the Ozone-layer in the atmosphere. The problem was recognized, adressed and fixed (just in time) BY SCIENCE If we had listened to people like you and that lady, today we had to wear lead-suits in the rain, avoid the sun completely, and practice indoor agriculture.......not to mention the billions of dead people and the end of global civilization.... But yeah! Keep mocking science, (while promoting some religious BS, or paranoid conspiracy theories based on NOTHING)........ because.......what could possibly go wrong?
