  2. You need a father-figure in your life. Your mother is not going to throw you into the deep part of the pool, so that you actually loose your fear to swim where you can`t stand. I was actually never in danger, he was one meter away from me, ready to take action if something went wrong, but at the time (5 yo) i didn`t notice. From them on I LOVED to swim in that part of the pool....... That`s a kind of love not many mothers can bring to the table.........
