  1. General Hodges should have zero confidence in any terrorists especially hamas. Unfortunately, a very brilliant US General sounds increasingly like a democrat politician with each passing day "forgetting" the US never negotiates with terrorists band yet he expects Israel to allow hamas to survive to fight another day. Maybe General Hodges would tolerate a hostile government bordering the US with the stated purpose of destroying America and consistent cross border raids resulting in thousands of American deaths. Israel has learned the painful lesson of doing that. I would point out to General Hodges that the US House passed an aid bill with $61 billion in new aid to Ukraine last December. The general willfull misunderstands that US aid also funds billions of dollars in Ukrainian pensions and government workers's pay in addition to dollars spent in the US. While advocating for over $100 billion dollars for Ukraine to secure its borders, General Hodges consistently ignores the huge national security issue of America's unsecured southern border and the US national debt exploding to an unsustainable level. The US will borrow another $1 trillion dollars to fund the shortfall for the next two fiscal quarters.
