  1. General Hodges raises a legitimate comparison of Churchill's convincing FDR to make the defeat of Nazi Germany a priority over Imperial Japan. A better comparison of what needs to happen now to end this war in Ukraine is Churchill's & FDR's deal with the devil, Stalin, at Yalta trading eastern Europe and Germany, ie land for peace. Like the growing exhaustion of western populations for this endless war, FDR & Churchill knew their people had no more stomach for a hot war with communist Russia. Key to the 44 years of peace in Europe during the Cold War was trading land for peace so the US could rapidly develop a credible threat communist Russia respected-American nuclear weapons and technological edge. This led to the eventual collapse and reunification of Germany and eventually freedom of all of eastern Europe and the Baltic States freedom. President Trump's plan is ending the killing and destruction in Ukraine. This gives Ukraine time to rebuild and rearm like Germany post WW2. Putin, Xi and the Iranian ayatollahs respect President Trump and no respect of Kamala Harris who is weaker than Joe Biden. Putin believes President Trump threatening to give Ukraine everything she needs to defeat Russia if Putin does not negotiate with President Zelensky. President Trump will end Joe Biden's trickling barely enough military aid to Ukraine and his absurd restrictions on Ukraine for nearly 3 years.

  2. President Joe Biden and not the United States failed to lay out a clear objective for Ukraine's victory. LTG Hodges likes to say it's the US government instead of the Commander in Chief, Joe Biden to cover for Biden's incompetence. Like Russia and Iran, China willingly provokes a worsening relationship with the US because all they see is Joe Biden's & Kamala Harris' weakness. Weakness beginning with the Biden-Harris administration's botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, to then offering President Zelensky a plane ride out of Ukraine before Russia's third invasion and years of trickling barely enough military aid to Ukraine. For two and a half years, LTG Hodges called on Joe Biden to declare Ukraine's victory is America's goal, to lay out a plan to achieve this goal and to quickly provide what Ukraine needs. Joe Biden has done none of these things because he is not committed to Ukraine's victory. For over 42 days, Kamala Harris has made no commitment to lift Joe Biden's absurd restrictions which could be lifted in one day nor committed to Ukraine's victory. Ironically, General Hodges criticizes President Trump who sent lethal aid and American Soldiers to Ukraine.
