How do you think they'd go taking on 27 at once like the EU Russia has lost over 880000 troops and over half of its military hardware / equipment and have only 17% of Ukraine land mass so based on those fig Russia simply does not have enough troops and military hardware to take over Ukraine and it will cost even more to hold it !! Between Assad losing Syria, NATO adding Finland and Sweden, Russia losing tens of thousands of soldiers to a war it wasn't prepared for and thousands of prime skilled workers to emigration, and Russian money is being poured into a fruitless slaughterfest of dead Russians; ending up as fertulrzer on the battlefield and feeding the crows and ravens in east Ukraine ...I don't know how anyone can say Russia is truly "winning" right now even if they do get some more land in Ukraine.. ON A SIDE NOTE : A FACT THAT GETS  OVERLOOKED IS  : Ukraine army and defense is much stronger better equipment and bigger (more trained active soldiers ) now (it has become bigger not smaller over time) its better organized and has more experience more weapons more diverse weaponry more high tech weaponry now than it was back in 2013 and even back in 2022 why stronger not weaker !! Ukraine after 3 years of war has the strongest, most experienced and best equipped army in Europe. They have 800,000 battle experienced troops that are running rings around the Russian meat wave attacks. With support from other non-USA countries supplying the necessary equipment Ukraine can win the war against the invaders. Unlike Russia it has become less equipped and has lower quality human resource Maybe you can explain to me how a country that can not take east Ukraine for 2 years and lost its black sea navy to a country without a navy ; a country that needs to beg and kissassssss to North Korea for weapons to survive a country that can even defend its own territories in Kursk Oblast a county that is pushing in untrained men into combat because it has no more well trained soldiers left a county that is using Chinese electric golf-carts and Chinese mopeds to attack with because they so low on proper military equipment ! a country that now is so low on combat soldiers that its striping its Murmansk navy personal and forcing sailors to take up infantry fighting roles in a land army .. NATO now actually needs Ukraine to join NATO because no other NATO army knows how to fight with drones. NATO military doctrines are out of date. Ukraine territory is a whopping 603,628 square kilometers (233,062 sq mi), Russia at one point occupied a total of 161,000 km2 (62,000 sq mi) or almost 27% of Ukraine's territory and some of that land has now been librated so now we are down to 119,000 km2 What really gets me is that some ppl. are now saying why does Ukraine not just let Russia have the areas /land it’s just a small part of Ukraine anyway..... A small part of Ukraine ...WE ARE taking about a land mass is 119,000 km2 In EU terms thats the size of Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg and Czech Republic all put together.. In UK terms that the size of all of Scotland and 80% of England all put together !! In US terms is the size of South Carolina, West Virginia all put together !! Why the f. should Ukraine give Russia all that land for what? TO ONLY be invaded some years later when Russia as had a brake and regrouped ,rebuilt its army and fortified positions !!

The Budapest Memorandum is a part of the broader non-proliferation regime; it’s registered at the UN and attached to Ukraine’s act of accession to the NPT. It was signed by Ukraine and the three nuclear weapon states, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Russia, depository states of the NPT. And one of those signatories blatantly and brazenly breached its commitments pledged in the Budapest Memorandum—and more importantly, it breached the UN Charter. Thus, all the arguments that the Budapest Memorandum is not legally binding are moot. The commitments in the Budapest Memorandum are legally binding by other means like the UN Charter, and Russia is part of the UN. 2. International law scholars such hve maintain that the Memorandum is an international treaty and therefore legally binding because it satisfies the criteria for one, as fixed by the 1969 Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties (VCLT) and is "an international agreement concluded between States in written form and governed by international law. 3. In 2009, United States released a joint statement that the US is still legally bound to the memorandum's security assurances and would still respected their commitment after the expiration of the START Treaty. 4. Based on the ligla frame of The CSCE Final Act) US and all parties of the memorandum must respect the Ukraines independence and sovereignty in the existing borders based on the borders of 1991 in accordance with the principles of the CSCE Final Act. According to the Budapest Memorandum of 1994, Russia, the US and the UK confirmed their recognition of Ukraine becoming parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and effectively abandoning their nuclear arsenal to Russia and that they would: 1. Respect Ukrainian independence and sovereignty in the existing borders. 2. Refrain from the threat or the use of force against Ukraine. 3. Refrain from using economic pressure on Ukraine to influence their politics. 4. Seek immediate action to provide assistance Ukraine if they "should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used". 5. Refrain from the use of nuclear arms against Ukraine. 6. Consult with one another if questions arise regarding those commitments We need to understand that EITHER the word/ deals and / or the grantees of the west are worth something or they are not !! And here we can clearly see what such guarantees with the west is worth, it has been 8 years now since Russia invaded Ukraine in the east of the country and annexed parts of Ukraine in Crimea AND NOTHING HAS HAPPENED so now Russia is going all inn and taking everything THE CAN!!  That is the result of worthless grantees !! Why should Ukraine sign another agreement with the United States? In which there are no guarantees again? Oh yes,11 years after the start of the war, in 2014 the United States began to provide scant assistance to Ukraine, and then they began to demand money from the victims of aggression for aid. Will America agree to not be part of any pace talks and be put on the side line and just let European Union or China deal with Putin over Alaska to make peace with Russia for taking Alaska .. becouse Russia has nuclear weapons ?.. The EU goes in and asked Putin for a pace talk to make a deal on how things will be regarding Putin getting Alaska back AND THE EU TELLS the US. you don't get to come to the "pace talks" I don't think Trump or the American people would agree to "make pace" so why would and should Ukraine agree to their country being carved up and given to Putin. Throughout this last year that's how American thought has been perceived in the West. This so called 'deal' is not a commodity to be bought or sold. Ukraine territory is a whopping 603,628 square kilometers (233,062 sq mi), Russia at one point occupied a total of 161,000 km2 (62,000 sq mi) or almost 27% of Ukraine's territory and some of that land has now been librated so now we are down to 119,000 km2 What really gets me is that some ppl. are now saying why does Ukraine not just let Russia have the areas /land it’s just a small part of Ukraine anyway..... A small part of Ukraine ...WE ARE taking about a land mass is 119,000 km2 In EU terms thats the size of Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg and Czech Republic all put together.. In UK terms that the size of all of Scotland and 80% of England all put together !! In US terms is the size of South Carolina, West Virginia all put together !! Why the f. should Ukraine give Russia all that land for what? TO ONLY be invaded some years later when Russia as had a brake and regrouped ,rebuilt its army and fortified positions !!
