Understand they are NOT asked putin to leave because he has committed crimea and evil started an illegal war etc etc etc They are asking him to leave because Putin has not won and gone far enough with his war crimes !! UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE !!
Russians, always uses as an excuse: I'm not interested in politics to make out they have not supported the anything bad !!
Look at it this way ; Putin is himself a symptom of the Russian mentality; FACT ; it is Russia and Russians that made Putin NOT Putin that made Russia or Russians !!
Far from dragging his reluctant compatriots into war, Putin is himself a symptom of the Russian mentality (remember it is Russia and Russians that made Putin NOT Putin that made Russia or Russians ) the unapologetically imperialistic outlook that shapes modern Russia’s relationship with the outside world and fuels the country’s insatiable appetite for external aggression.
(Moldova, 1991
Georgia 2008
Ukraine (Crimea ) 2014 Ukraine (East Ukraine )
and now all of Ukraine 2022 ++++)
(And let's not forget historical Russian roles in 1994 Nagorno Karabakh. 1994
First Chechen War 1999 Second Chechen War 2000 Second Chechen War part 2, Kazakhstan 2022 just to mention some as there are many more )
An understanding of Russia’s imperial instincts is essential for anyone looking to make sense of the seemingly senseless war crimes currently taking place in Ukraine. After all, it was not Putin who committed rape, torture, and mass murder in towns and villages across Ukraine. Putin did not fly the jets or fire the artillery that reduced entire Ukrainian cities to rubble. Likewise, he did not personally produce the endless stream of Russian propaganda films, TV shows, fake news bulletins, and social media posts dehumanizing Ukrainians and demonizing the West. These crimes were only possible thanks to the millions of Russians who willingly participated in the process or offered their enthusiastic support over a period of many years.
While politicians and commentators in the West continue to promote the comforting notion that Russians are themselves victims of Putin’s regime, virtually all the available evidence points to strong Russian public support for the war in Ukraine.
A recent survey conducted by Russia’s only internationally respected independent pollster, the Levada Center, found that 89% of Russians back the invasion of Ukraine with just 6% somewhat disagreed and 5% strongly opposed . (NOW LET THAT SINK IN !! )
Positive Russian attitudes toward the war are rooted in longstanding perceptions of Ukraine as part of Russia’s imperial heartlands. Despite the passage of three decades since the collapse of the Soviet Union, many Russians have never fully come to terms with the idea of an independent Ukraine and continue to regard the country as an indivisible element of historic Russia that has been artificially separated from the motherland.
Putin did not invent such sentiments but he has proven highly skilled at exploiting them. In his many speeches and essays on the Ukraine issue, he has consistently appealed to Russia’s imperial aspirations while playing on widespread resentment at the country’s post-Soviet humiliations and loss of superpower status. When Putin laments the fall of the USSR as the “demise of historical Russia,” ordinary Russians understand that it is primarily Ukraine he has in mind.
UNDERSTAND-THAT Russians are and have always been psychoticnation spellbound and fascinated by the big great leader syndrome-complex it comes historically of their eurasian historical mentality and idea /ideology of what the Russians call the Ruski Mir (Russia world ) some call it the Russian soul and what they see as th "uniqueness" of the Russian national identity. ..
The Russians have now vote in Putin for-almost 20years now, they vote over and over for this sycophanticlunatic that is Putin; The Russians have no excuse they have voted him in for over 20 years now, they know how he is, why he does what he does, and what he will do; there should be no shock over what he does or does not do, the Russians know all about Putin, and they like what he does, and how he does it; And that is why they vote for him over and over and over again !!
Look at it from this way : The public had a changes back in 2008 in the election when Putin in accordance with the Russian constitution, was forbidden to run for the office of President because of the limitation of how many times a person can continually be President ; The Russian ppl. had an option of voting for the opposition cadet at the time Mr. Boris Nemstov (and not for Putins boy Demitry Medvedev,) and therefor also democracy rule of law and to become a normal country;
But did they vote for Boris?
NO no no no, they did not vote for Boris did they !!
NO they vote for Putin's puppet boy Mr. Demitry Medvedev, because that was the next best thing as voting for Putin himself !!!
And after one term in office they voted once more to reinstated Putin back as president in accordance with the constitution !! So the Russians have no excuse they are responsible for what Putin does in there name..
