They (the Russian society/ ppl ) have voted for Putin for over 20 years now, they know what he does, they know what he he will do , they know what he has done !! THEY KNOW HIM !!!! and the Russian ppl vote for him over and over for over 20 years now !! So yes they are responsible for what he does in their name!! Russians did not say a word when Putin took Crimea in 2014 (other than celebrated in the streets ) Russians did not say a word when Putin occupied Donbas (east Ukraine ) in 2014 Russians did not say a world when Russians GRU spetsnaz forces was working with and "advising "Putin's terrorists separatists in east Ukraine shooting down a civilian jet MH 17 no they did not !! in-fact what they did say was that is was not Russia but Ukraine that shot down the civilian jet and tried to demonize and blame Ukrainians for what they themselves the Russian did !!! Russians did not say a word about the 18000 Ukrainian civilians that have been killed in east Ukraine since 2014 by Russia proxy war in East Ukraine !!!
