  1. I've been driving in socks for over 17 years. Once you adjust to the feel, you come to realise that shoes are actually a detriment to your driving. I've driven professionally too whilst only wearing socks; had no accidents at all. Never hit or been collided with anything/anyone.

  2. I've done a course before and was advised that the course is declared as you've still committed an offence and that not declaring (anything really) can invalidate your insurance. Note: I didn't realise that the right lane on a dual carriage way (that isn't a national limit), isn't for overtaking, it's for traffic flow.

  3. My Mrs had a heart attack at the wheel in 2014, whilst driving down the M6S/B , at junction 6. It caused - as you'd imagine - absolute chaos and hurt many people. I literally got in my car and sped down the M6 to get to the hospital in Birmingham, from Stoke (She was seriously ill). Due to the crash, several junctions on the southbound were limited to 40MPH, yet I sped through all of them. I ended up with 9 points, a course and a hefty fine. I wasn't banned due to needing my license, just to keep my job. My employer was fine with my actions, yet the CPS clearly wasn't. To this day, I'd do the same again.
