  1. To add context to the 20mph zones/limits: By law, they're not strictly enforcible by the Police. Meaning that these 20mph areas are most likely - Wales has the best examples -naturally enforced by the physical road lay out themselves. I.e too steep, too narrow, blind bends etc. Obviously, don't take my word for it. The serious injury and fatality rates at low speed has dramatically dropped. Essentially making a 30>20 reduction, less effective than say, a drop from 60>50. Why? Modern cars are incredibly well equipped for low speed collision prevention.
