The past few years, we've seen many countries protest their governments. Will we see the British public unite like in France? Or will the public just carry on going about their daily lives, trying to ignore the collapse around.

If I go jail, does this mean i've got somewhere to live?

@georgegeorge4921 Exactly. The identity of the nation has gone and there's sense of pride or belonging anywhere. People are too busy trying to achieve the middle class status, than actually building communities. Remember working men's clubs? Families knew each other, children grew up together.

I attended a break down yesterday that had a cracked suspension top mount on the F/P/S. The driver told me that she'd slowed down to limit the risk, as she couldn't avoid it. It was either hit a car at the t-junction - parallal to the pot hole - or oncoming traffic or risk the car.

I refuse to pay a TV license that supports Garry Lineker.

So not only are people not able to afford houses, if they do inherit their family home, they'll likely have to surrender the property to pay for the tax bill. This essentially wipes out the working class' ability to generate generational wealth - which has historically been a key indicator of abundance. Abundance being a measure of societies growth.

@ClownWorldYT Not a cheap fix either - highly likely the insurer will write the car off. I waved the recovery fee as me charging her for a car worth a few hundred quid, didn't seem like a morally sound choice.

@natebentham I was a 🔔end for a number of years and it changed when someone gave me help when I didn't deserve/need it. So now if I can help someone who does need it, i'll try.

The British public has always been a nation of hard workers; nose down, you get fed. The irony is that, for the working class, a sort of meritocracy has been pushed as 'key' to success. Yet the class system hasn't gone away - look at the house of lords as a prime example. That make sense?

@natebentham Yeah man thanks. Big respect for sharing. 👊

Good! I hope it goes awfully too! The more this "minority" agenda gets forced into everyone's life, the more people see it for what it is - socio-political narrative pushing. It'll be fun reading about how Cambridge is "systemically racist" and get's protestors and/or other powerful student's families are forced to accept DIE students.

No more migrants. No homes for them.

The government has no problem paying tens of billions for faster train ride, millions of illegal immigrants, yet somehow can't find money to fill holes? Not to mention JCB have made a specialist tool for repairing potholes, specifically due to the roads around their plants!

Research into 20mph zones. The central government doesn't legally require them to be inforced via fixed cameras and speed vans, so you'll not see local councils spend money on the infrastructure to catch speeders. It's purely down to local police forces to enforce the restriction or not. The guide line for 20mph zones are that they should be naturally inforced via the road terrain and condition. E.g. South Wales has roads that are very narrow and blind; naturally forcing slower driving.

Same as Black people are represented enough in the media or sports; Which is just ridiculous lies. Yet we don't see a surge in pushing Asian actors and singers to the forefront...because it doesn't fit the social narrative at play.

Disagree. My daily commute sees me use a logging road from N > S of the Scottish highlands. Perfectly smooth tarmac with it's intended use being timber wagons; no repairs, no patches no potholes.

To add context to the 20mph zones/limits: By law, they're not strictly enforcible by the Police. Meaning that these 20mph areas are most likely - Wales has the best examples -naturally enforced by the physical road lay out themselves. I.e too steep, too narrow, blind bends etc. Obviously, don't take my word for it. The serious injury and fatality rates at low speed has dramatically dropped. Essentially making a 30>20 reduction, less effective than say, a drop from 60>50. Why? Modern cars are incredibly well equipped for low speed collision prevention.
