  1. The U.K companies get around Unions by having a lot of jobs as 'agency' or 'temp to perm'. You have no rights, legal or otherwise from the company you're working at - not 'for' as you don't actually work for the company. No rights from the agency you're employed by as they don't have to offer anything, the agency takes a percent of your pay for you going to work, the agency are responsible for your pay; they manually have to process your pay too in 2021.

  2. Yeah alright, let's do that. Make you point Joe B and we'll discuss it. When we think of these deals going on, the wealth accumulated by the famous, we never consider the average bloke. Take for instance the landlords: There's several landlords that have openly stated that they own entire streets, business lots and even purposefully bought land, knowing that the government will be wanting to build on it, so can charge 'X' and they'll get it. Don't worry so much about the Bezos' of the world, as you literally can't stop them if you wanted...be concerned about those who own large chunks of properties that can displace hundreds of people and evict small businesses.
