  1. It's the socio-economic trap that lures people. Can you blame them? Modern societies are consumer based, yet in reality, you need very little in life. Why do you need a £400k house? Why drive a £40k BMW when you can cycle to work? These are real example that I asked someone I work with. He'd never even challenged his own reasoning on his "choices"....

  2. It doesn't take much to learn that modern western societies aren't equipped to develop healthy, functional people any more. Our excessive desire to obtain comfort and ease of life has be traded for our individuality, socio-economic "stability" and the social media - chase that holiday, car, house, career. We've traded our personal responsibility for our own health, that now we have excuses for everything. If you are someone who's lonely, I'd recommend writing a journal and get into nature.
