I have two genuine friends, yet we're very different people: They powerlift & strong man, I climb & hike. The key is that your friends don't have to be identical to yourself, for a friendship to work. Take people for who they are and not what they can provide you.

17:47 - That's a heavily forced "Russian" accent. Essentially fake and sounds like every westerner trying to do a 'Russian/English' accent. 😅

These are the same people that take on debts for cars they can't afford, instead of saving it, renting a place or contributing to their parents house via rent. They'll say you're a looser, yet consume tiktok and spout what they've heard as 'knowledge'.

These videos just confirm my frugal living is the best choice.

I own a 2020 Toyota Yaris with 51k on the clock, for £2.2k. Meanwhile I know people that have spent that, just in payments alone, in less than 4 months!!

As a European, the tipping structure in the USA seems predatory. Why should you be tipping someone for doing their job? Do you tip you mechanic - someone who uses actual skills to fix a problem.

It appears that the tip structure is so as the customer is off-setting the wages that the employer should pay. Why else would the lowest paying jobs be tip-based?

21:35 - Great point! I got a friend's job kick started via him reaching out for help. He's 22 and clears £840 p/w in the UK. He's in the top 1% in every wage category at 22! 😎

I lived in Germany through the 90s and early 2ks. It's extremely common to rent and live with roommates. I really enjoyed my 30s with roommates!

I paid £2.7k for a Toyota that's cost me £217 per year to run, over the past 3 years. Over the same 3 years, a mate has paid £23k for a car loan + £800 per year in running costs. In another 12 months, he'll have a large bill to pay or more debt coming his way....

The car finance system in the UK sees people taking loans out that are normally greater than their yearly salary. I know a bloke who pays £378 p/m, whilst also putting aside £350 p/m for his 'balloon payment' at the end of 4 years.....all for a 2022 3 series BMW.

I'm a hydraulic maintenance/repair engineer. I left the industry with 15 years of experience, to earn similar for far easier work. My hours are far better, the commute is 1/4 of what it was, allowing me to see more of what I earn.

Choosing to sustain yourself on fast food is idiotic. If you're too cheap and stupid to feel yourself properly, there's no hope for you.

People protested war full stop. In the 2020s, you're forced to pick a side and justify why you don't support the narrative!

11:35 - I'm calling this comment BS. That person is at the 'million' mark, yet financially silly enough to be paying $4600 p/m??? Yeah right....

My Brother has a seven figure gross income, yet drives a 2018 Golf TSI. It cost £16k in 2020. If he's not paying a note for a car, I'm certainly not going to be foolish enough to!!
