  1. I married into a royal-connected family....none of them wear Gucci or other such brands. They're not considered tasteful. It's the poor that asign the value to these brands - the irony!

  3. In my opinion: Governments around the world need to introduce interest caps on mortgages. Why? House prices can remain high, so as the entire housing as a business can continue, yet also stop people paying 100+% on interest payments. Payments that only benefit the bank's top people. This will mean that people will, over their mortgage term, have more money to spend in local economies, allow to be saved for pensions, invested etc. This will increase GDP and personal wealth. There's no reason why a bank needs to earn 100% of your mortgage loan in interest.
