  1. Imo these situations at Sea are the same as at War or those that have to do similar after plane crashes. They're extreme, non-negotiable terms that cannot be deemed legal by anyone who's not experienced similar. Plus it makes no sense to execute the survivors that took a life to save theirs - literally a waste of life for all involved.
