I understand that if you're allowed to get away with 40, why not 45 or 48. Heck push it to 50 perhaps? Difference is, I don't make excuses to myself to excuse me from doing wrong.

  13. She's probably going to kill someone on the road at some point. People that drive like that don't learn or change; they lack the mental capacity to become a capable driver. I have a real life example that I was involved in, that ultimately ended in a serious injury for a family.

I deal with mental health issues and drug addiction in ex-servicemen/women, I can tell you from experience, you can get addicted, you can overdose, it can consume your life and it will eventually create mental health issues. Take it from someone who's had 4 funerals alone from drug usage complications.

It's down to the judge, perhaps you're more capable and qualified to question the ruling? Or are you of a higher moral fibre that would be extremely sensitive to each case.
