As a Brit, this is insane to listen to! I've heard a story of a bloke having to decide which finger to have attached because he can't afford to have both. The U.K system isn't brilliant either; it's corrupt and majorly painful to use. I once had tonsillitis that I couldn't see my doctor about because the only available appointment was 5 weeks away and A&E turned me away.
